Talend Studio enables profiling of Delta tables by connecting to Hive via a JDBC connection. To profile Delta tables, follow the procedure [Profiling an ADLS Databricks file via Hive](https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/studio-user-guide/8.0-R2026-07/profiling-adls-databricks-file "From the Profiling perspective of Talend Studio, you can generate a column analysis on an ADLS Databricks file through Hive.").

To profile Delta tables, use a Databricks file stored on:

* ADLS Gen2
* Amazon S3
* Databricks File System

You can profile files of the following formats:

* Delta
* TXT
* CSV
* Parquet, with a flat structure
