# Adding a task to a report or to an analysis in a report

You can add tasks to generated reports or to analyses listed under the Reports or Analyses node in the DQ repository tree view respectively. This can be used as a reminder to modify the report/analysis or to flag a problem that needs to be solved later, for example.

The procedures are exactly the same for adding a task to any item in the DQ repository tree view.
