Talend Management Console tasks | Lineage is now appended when multiple Talend Management Console tasks target the same dataset. You can trace multiple upstream branches
instead of having the latest task overwrite the previously recorded lineage.

This change applies to Talend Studio 8.0 R2026-08 onwards.

Support of security methods in API-First
components | tAPIContract and tAPIOperation now support mapping OpenAPI security schemes
to runtime security profiles, including Basic Auth, static JWT, and dynamic
JWT/OIDC validation. Security can be configured at the contract or operation
level, with inherited and explicitly public operations supported. | ## Big Data | Feature | Description | | --- | --- | | Support for VariantType in tIcebergInput and tIcebergSQL | VariantType columns are now supported for tIcebergInput and tIcebergSQL

To use VariantType columns in the components, you need to define
the column as String in the components schema, and the value
will be materialized as JSON text.

VariantType columns are not supported
