# Data Quality: migration

| Indexes | Lucene has been upgraded to version 8.<br><br>If the indexes were created with<br>version 7.2 or earlier, you need to migrate them. The location of the migration<br>procedure depends on the Talend Studio installation.<br><br>If you are using Talend Studio 8.0 R2026-05 or earlier:<br><br><ul> <li>With the installer:                              <span>/addons/scripts/Lucene_Migration_Tool/README.md</span>.</li> <li>With no installer: in the license email, click the link <em>Migration tool for Lucene Indexes from version 4 to                              version 8</em>.</li> </ul><br><br>If you are using Talend Studio 8.0 R2026-06 or later, the Lucene migration tool has been removed from the<br>Talend installers and is no longer available. |
