# Creating a Studio resource while creating/editing a task

## Before you begin

You must have the Studio connections and Studio resources - Edit (TMC\_CONNECTION\_RESOURCE\_EDIT) user permission and the Editor (Author) space permission assigned for the space where the resource is stored.

## About this task

After clicking the Add Studio resource button while creating or editing a task, the Add Studio resource wizard opens. You can create a Studio resource based on the parameters defined in the artifact that is used in the task.

## Procedure

1. In the Add Studio resource wizard, select the space in which to create the resource.
2. Enter the resource name.
3. Optional: Enter a description for the resource.
4. Select the file to upload.
5. Click Save.

## Results

When the Studio resource is created, you are redirected to the create/edit task wizard and the new Studio resource is selected in the drop-down list.
