Information noteTroubleshooting: Recent Java Runtime Environment (JRE) versions, such as 11, no longer bundle any fonts, and therefore rely on the underlying operating system fonts. When using a bare minimum true headless Linux configuration, fontconfig and libfontconfig1 must be installed and configured on the system. Otherwise, the JRE cannot access the fonts needed by some components for rendering, and an error related to fontconfig or libfontconfig1 may occur at runtime. Talend Installer currently only supports Remote Engine Gen2 on x86-64 processor type. * Docker environment: Remote Engine Gen2 runs in a Docker environment and requires the following Docker versions: * Docker Compose plugin v2.21 and onwards. If both binary and plugin are installed, Docker Compose plugin is selected by default. * Docker 28.x. * Ensure that the operating system you are using for Remote Engine Gen2 is supported by the required Docker versions. Information noteTip: Experimental operating systems by Docker are not supported. While a Windows archive file is available for download, it only includes a .bat file intended for development purposes. ## Statement regarding Virtualization and Docker deployments Qlik supports running on virtual machines and Docker containers. For both Virtualization Systems and Linux based Docker containers, Qlik relies on the vendors’ compatibility statements to ensure the correct running and execution of the Talend software. Qlik does not deliver prepackaged Docker Images or Dockerfile for Talend applications.
