# Accessing the microservice through the load balancer

Use Talend Cloud API Tester to test your microservice using the load balancer.

## Procedure

1. Open Talend Cloud API Tester and go to the DemoREST project created in [Testing the microservice](https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/deploy-rest-api-azure/Cloud/testing-microservice).
2. Click your environment in the top right corner and click Add an environment in the drop-down list.
3. Enter a name, DemoREST-LB for example, then select the Copy variables from check box and select DemoREST-VM1 in the drop-down list.
4. Click Create.
5. Update the Value column for the baseURL with the IP address and port associated with your load balancer.
   ### Example

   http://<DemoREST-PublicIP>:80/services
6. Send your requests as many times as needed.

## Results

The load balancer distributes your requests between the two Remote Engines, you can see the metrics on your task in Talend Management Console.
