# Managing Data Quality thresholds

Thresholds help you identify datasets requiring improvements to meet your business expectations.

## Procedure

1. To define the thresholds of the Data Quality tile, click ![Configure icon](https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/data-inventory-user-guide/Resources/images/data-mapper-threshold.png) on the right side of the Data Quality tile.

2. Modify the percentage allocated to:
   * The valid values to define the minimum threshold required to get a Good flag.
   * The empty or invalid values to define the threshold not to exceed to get a Good flag.
3. Click Apply to validate your changes.
