# Accessing Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL

The Job in this scenario demonstrates how to access Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL using the tPostgresqlOutput and the tPostgresqlInput components. For more information about Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL, see [Using Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL](https://cloud.google.com/sql/docs/postgres).

In this scenario:

* tDBConnection\_1 establishes a connection to a Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL instance.
* SubJob 1 writes data to a database table on the Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL instance.
* SubJob 2 retrieves data from the database table and displays the data in the console.
