Information noteDeprecation: This component is deprecated since the 6.2 General Availability release. Talend recommends you to use the tPredict component.

Predicts the cluster of an element.

Based on the clustering model generated by a model training component such as a K-Means component, tPredictCluster predicts to which cluster an element belongs. tPredictCluster uses a given clustering model to analyse datasets incoming from its preceding component in order to group the elements into different clusters.

In local mode, Apache Spark 1.6.0 and later versions are supported.

For more technologies supported by Talend, see [Talend components](https://help.qlik.com/talend/r/en-US/7.3/components/machine-learning).

Depending on the Talend product you are using, this component can be used in one, some or all of the following Job frameworks:

* Spark Batch: see [tPredictCluster properties for Apache Spark Batch](https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/components/7.3/machine-learning/tpredictcluster-properties-for-apache-spark-batch).

The component in this framework is available in all Talend Platform products with Big Data and in Talend Data Fabric.

* Spark Streaming: see [tPredictCluster properties for Apache Spark Streaming](https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/components/7.3/machine-learning/tpredictcluster-properties-for-apache-spark-streaming).

This component is available in Talend Real Time Big Data Platform and Talend Data Fabric.
