# Source

Physical machine on which Talend Change Data Capture target engine is installed (for more information, see [Installing the source and target engines on AS/400 IBMi, iSeries, Power i](https://help.qlik.com/talend/r/en-US/7.3/change-data-capture-installation-guide/installing-on-as-400-iseries-power-i) and [Installing the source engines on Windows NT](https://help.qlik.com/talend/r/en-US/7.3/change-data-capture-installation-guide/installing-the-source-engines)).

The source database(s) are not necessarily installed on the same machine as the source engine one.

The following sources are supported by Talend Change Data Capture:

* IBM DB2 iSeries (AS/400)
* Oracle
* MS SQL Server
* MS Azure SQL
* MS Azure SQL Managed Instance
* PostgreSQL
* MySQL/MariaDB
* Progress OpenEdge
