# Sending and redirecting requests

Once you have created a request, you can send it and configure redirections.

## Procedure

1. Go to REQUESTS and click the name of the request you want to send in the left panel.
2. Expand the Send drop-down menu and choose a redirection option:
   * Click Follow redirects.
   * Click Don't follow redirects.

   ![Send options.](https://help.qlik.com/talend/en-US/api-tester-user-guide/Resources/images/send_request.png) If you click Send, the default mode is applied. By default, it does not follow redirects. This can be modified in API Tester Settings > HTTP.
