# Navigation bar

Navigate quickly and use the tools that you need in the navigation bar and toolbar in Qlik Sense.

Menu options will be different depending on:

* Whether you are editing or analyzing (viewing) charts in an application.
* The chart type.
* The privileges that have been assigned to you by your administrator.
* Custom settings for visualization menus that have been configured by the application developer (see [Hiding items in visualization menus](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/May2026/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Apps/style-app.htm#HidingContext)).

In the navigation bar, you can:

* Click Qlik to navigate to the hub.

* Navigate between area of the application using the application navigation menu.

  The application navigation menu replaces the Analyze, Narrate, and Prepare tabs in the previous navigation bar.

* Click the application name to open application details, for example, to edit the application name or decription.

* Click the More icon to perform actions based on the view you are in.

  In all sections of apps, the following are available:

  * Show details/Hide details

  * Touch screen mode

  * Help

  * Settings

  In Overview, Data manager, and Data model viewer, the following are available:

  * Add data

  In Sheets, the following are available:

  * Download sheet as PDF

  * Duplicate sheet

  * Delete sheet

  * Embed sheet

  In Storytelling, the following are available:

  * Download story as PowerPoint

  * Download story as PDF

  * Duplicate story

  * Delete story

In the toolbar, perform tasks related to the view that you are in. Some tasks that were located in other parts of the user interface have been moved to the toolbar. With Insight Advisor, you can access Insight Advisor Search and Insight Advisor Analysis Types.

In sheet view in edit mode, for example, you can open the assets panel or properties panel, and create and manage bookmarks and sheets. Cut, copy, and paste, which were previously found at the bottom of the sheet, are now located in the toolbar. In analysis mode, you can work with selections, and create and manage sheets and bookmarks.

In storytelling view, you can add images, text, shapes, and so on.
