Opening apps in the Qlik Sense Mobile Client Managed app

Open Qlik Sense apps in the Qlik Sense Mobile Client Managed app when you are online and connected to a server, or offline and not connected to a server.

This documentation also applies to Qlik Sense Mobile for BlackBerry app. Qlik Sense Mobile for BlackBerry is the Qlik Sense Mobile Client Managed application running on iOS and integrated with the BlackBerry Dynamics platform.

Note: To connect to a Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows deployment from Qlik Sense Mobile Client Managed, users must be allocated the appropriate access type. Users who have been allocated User access, or a Professional or Analyzer access license, can connect. Users with Analyzer capacity licenses or login access cannot. Anonymous access is not allowed.

Opening a Qlik Sense app when connected to a server

Connect to a Qlik Sense Enterprise server to open an app online.

  • Tap the Qlik Sense app icon. The online version of the app opens. If you have downloaded the app, you can open the app online or offline. Apps that you have downloaded are marked with a downloaded badge.

You can also tap More on the Qlik Sense app to open the app details window, and then tap the Online tab. Tap Open online to open the app.

Opening a Qlik Sense app when not connected to a server

Open apps that have been downloaded even when you are not connected to a Qlik Sense Enterprise server. Apps that have been downloaded are marked with the downloaded badge on the app icon.

  • Tap the Qlik Sense app icon. The offline version of the app opens.

You can also tap More on the Qlik Sense app to open the app details window, and then tap the Offline tab. Tap Open offline to open the app.
