Qlik Sense is a web-based application with a number of different views to work in.
Hubs are your starting point and where you will see all your apps. You can view and interact with apps in any hub. You create new apps in the Qlik Sense Enterprise hub.
In the Qlik Sense Enterprise hub, you can create, develop, publish, and consume apps, depending on the privileges assigned to you by your Qlik Sense administrator.
Depending on how your organization has deployed Qlik Sense Enterprise, you may also have one or more cloud hubs. Your administrator will provide you with a web address to start using Qlik Sense. That address will determine the hub that opens for you.
You can view and interact with apps in the cloud hub. You can also create, develop, and share apps, depending on your user role and permissions in the space to which you have access. User roles are assigned by your tenant administrator. Space permissions are assigned by space owners and administrators.
A cloud hub in Qlik Sense Enterprise is different from Qlik Sense Cloud, which is the standalone software as a service offering from Qlik. You cannot, for example, publish directly from Qlik Sense Enterprise to Qlik Sense Cloud.
The hub is your starting point and it is where you find all your apps.
When you open an app from the hub, you arrive at the app overview. From here you see all the content the app contains (such as sheets, stories, and bookmarks).
For more information, see App overview.
You can add data sources without using scripts in the data manager.
For more information, see Managing data in the app with Data manager.
Data load editor
You use the data load editor to create, edit, and run the script that loads data into your app.
For more information, see Data load editor.
Data model viewer
You use the data model viewer to get an overview of the data you have loaded into your app.
For more information, see Data model viewer.
You arrive at sheet view when you open a sheet in an app. It is here you develop and analyze apps.
For more information, see Sheet view.
You arrive at storytelling view when you open a story in an app. It is here you build and play stories based on your data discoveries and insights.
Fore more information, see Storytelling view.
