# Get the apps folder

Get the folder where the apps are stored by using the [GetDefaultAppFolder method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-getdefaultappfolder.htm).

#### The goal is to retrieve the folder where the apps are stored.

The handle is -1 because the [GetDefaultAppFolder method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-getdefaultappfolder.htm) applies at global level.

The client sends:
