# Get search suggestions

Get search suggestions by using the [SearchSuggest method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-doc-searchsuggest.htm).

## Example

#### The goal is to get the search suggestion for the term Oakmont.

The client sends:
