# List the fields in a table for a folder connection

List the fields in a table of a folder connection by using the [GetFileTableFields method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-doc-getfiletablefields.htm).

#### The goal is to list the fields inside the table Categories.

The connection identifier is named 263F7719-7EBD7F27-38024A96-0D60BCA5-84653937.

The type of the connection file is EXCEL\_OOXML.

The handle of the request is 1 because the [GetFileTableFields method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-doc-getfiletablefields.htm) applies at app level.
