# Delete an app

Delete an app by using the [DeleteApp Method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-deleteapp.htm).

## Qlik Sense Enterprise

In addition to being removed from the repository, the app is removed from the directory as well:

<installation\_directory>\Qlik\Sense\Apps

The default installation directory is ProgramData.

## Qlik Sense Desktop

The app is deleted from the directory %userprofile%\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Apps.

#### The goal is to delete an app from the repository in Qlik Sense Enterprise.

The handle of the request is -1 since the method DeleteApp applies at the global level.

The identifier of the app to be removed from the Qlik Sense repository is 38d255c5-6a88-4550-b835-1aa5805a601e.

The client sends:
