# List the streams

List the streams using the [GetStreamList method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2024/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-getstreamlist.htm).

## Example

The goal is to list the streams. The handle of the request is -1 because the GetStreamList method applies at global level.

The client sends:

The engine returns:

One stream is defined: Everyone ("qName": "Everyone").
