# Get the version of Qlik Sense

Get the version of Qlik Sense by using the [ProductVersion method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2024/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-productversion.htm).

Use the [EngineVersion method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2024/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-engineversion.htm) instead.

## Example

The client sends:
