# Get the version of the Qlik associative engine component

Get the version of the Qlik associative engine component by using the [EngineVersion method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/November2024/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-engineversion.htm).

## Example

The client sends:
