## GetMatchingFields(IEnumerable&lt;String&gt;, NxMatchingFieldMode)

Retrieves any fields that match all of the specified tags or just one of them in the data model of an app.

          IEnumerable<NxMatchingFieldInfo> GetMatchingFields([QixName("qTags")] IEnumerable<string> tags, [QixName("qMatchingFieldMode")] NxMatchingFieldMode matchingFieldMode = NxMatchingFieldMode.MATCHINGFIELDMODE_MATCH_ALL)

### Parameters

| Type | Name | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable&lt;System.String&gt; | tags | List of tags.<br>The `GetMatchingFields` method looks for fields that match one or all of the tags in this list, depending on the value of `qMatchingFieldMode` . |
| [NxMatchingFieldMode](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/May2026/Subsystems/NetSDKAPIref/Content/Qlik.Engine.NxMatchingFieldMode.htm) | matchingFieldMode | Matching field mode.<br>The default value is MATCHINGFIELDMODE\_MATCH\_ALL. |

Tags set by Qlik Sense are prefixed by the `$` sign.
