# Get the identifier of the endpoint

Get the unique identifier of the endpoint in use by the user in the current app by using the [GetUniqueID method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/May2026/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-getuniqueid.htm).

## Example

The client sends:

The identifier of the endpoint used by the user in the current app is displayed.
