# List available apps

List all available apps by using the [GetDocList Method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/May2026/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-getdoclist.htm).

In Qlik Sense Enterprise:

The list is generated by the QRS. The GetDocList method only returns documents the current user is allowed to access.

In Qlik Sense Desktop:

The applications are located in C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Apps.

#### The goal is to list all the apps available, while running Qlik Sense Desktop.

Prerequisites:

The following apps are present in the directory %userprofile%\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Apps:

* Golf Quest
* Tutorial

1. List the apps. The handle of the request is -1 since the GetDocList method applies at global level.

The client sends:
