# Get information about an ODBC, OLEDB or CUSTOM connection

Get information about an ODBC, OLEDB or CUSTOM connection by using the [GetDatabaseInfo method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/May2026/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-doc-getdatabaseinfo.htm).

#### The goal is to get information about an ODBC database.

The handle of the request is 1 because the applies at the app level.

The identifier of the connection is provided in input.
