# Get the handle of a measure

Get the handle of a measure by using the [GetMeasure method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/May2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-doc-getmeasure.htm).

## Example

#### The goal is to get the handle of the measure Me01.

The handle of the app is 1.

The client sends:
