# Is the user working in Qlik Sense Desktop?

Find out if a user is working in Qlik Sense Desktop using the [IsDesktopMode method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/May2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-global-isdesktopmode.htm).

## Example

The client sends:

The engine returns:
