# List the values of a table for a folder connection

List the values in a table for a folder connection by using the [GetFileTablePreview method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/May2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-doc-getfiletablepreview.htm).

#### The goal is to list the values inside the table Categories for a folder connection.

The identifier of the connection file is B6F63CFE-BF978B6D-0E0016ED-B8FDCD8F-DE6A0EC2.

The connection file is Qv101.xlsx.

The type of the file is EXCEL\_OOXML.

The handle of the request is 1 because the [GetFileTablePreview method](https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/May2025/Subsystems/EngineJSONAPI/Content/service-doc-getfiletablepreview.htm) applies at app level.
