# getAppList method

qlik.global.getAppList(callback)

Gets a list of Qlik Sense apps that you potentially can connect to and registers a callback to receive the data.

Calling the getAppList method opens a WebSocket, gets the app list, and then keeps the WebSocket open for you to make other calls as well.

## Parameters

### callback

Type: Function

Optional.

Callback method. Registers a callback that is executed every time data is returned.

## Example

```
qlik.getGlobal(config).getAppList(function(list){
	var str = "";
	$.each(list, function(key, value) {
		str +=  value.qDocName + "("+ value.qDocId +")";
	});
	alert(str);
});
```
