Upload extension

Procedure

Qlik Sense performs the following procedure:

  1. A request is sent to the Qlik Sense Repository Service (QRS).
  2. The QRS uploads the extension.

Success

In case of success, log entries are written in the following files throughout the procedure:

  • <MachineName>_AuditActivity_Repository.txt

Errors

The process cannot access the file

The process cannot access the file error
Description Command=Upload extension;Result=500;ResultText=Error: IO
Message The process cannot access the file '<Filename>' because it is being used by another process. (HTTP code: 500)
Action

Try the following measures:

  • Wait for any ongoing process in the Qlik Management Console (QMC) to finish and then upload the extension again.
  • Restart the QRS.
