Optional configurations when installing Qlik Sense Enterprise on Kubernetes

After you have installed Qlik Sense Enterprise on Kubernetes, you can make configurations that are not required, but may be worthwhile, depending on your needs.

Using Google Web Risk to validate generic links

For the generic links in Qlik Sense Enterprise on Kubernetes, you can use the Google Web Risk API to validate links that are created, updated, or visited. This validation is, by default, disabled. To enable the validation, you need to set webrisk.enabled to true and buy a license for Google Web Risk, which includes an apiToken that you add to the web risk configuration.

Do the following:

  1. Open the file values.yaml that you created when installing Qlik Sense Enterprise on Kubernetes.

  2. Add the following content:

    ## Webrisk configuration
      ##
      webrisk:
        # toggle Google Web Risk validation of links
        enabled: true
        # API token for Google Web Risk
        apiToken: "<api token>"
  3. Add the API token from Google Web Risk.

  4. Redeploy by running the following command:

    helm install -n qliksense qlik/qliksense -f values.yaml
