On the E-mail Template tab, the e-mail templates for the various messages that can be sent from the QlikView Publisher (QVP) can be managed. The messages include the following:
- Attachment (HTML)
- Attachment (Plain)
- Notify (HTML)
- Notify (Plain)
- Alert (HTML)
- Alert (Plain)
The contents of a template can be edited using html. The following is a list of the variables that can be used to edit email templates. Not all variables are supported for all email templates. Variables must be inside square brackets as shown below.
- [DocTitle], meaning the title of the document
- [DateTime], meaning the current date and time
- [Location], meaning the QlikView Server folder to which the document has been distributed
- [ResourceName], meaning the QVP resource to which the document has been distributed
- [TaskName] or [JobName], meaning the name of the task
- [Log], meaning the log of the task

This template is used when documents are e-mailed.
