Qlik NPrinting Engine service logout failure

Possible cause  

If an Qlik NPrinting Engine uninstall fails, after the rollback, the Qlik NPrinting Engine service may be unable to start. The Windows Services page shows the following error:

The service did not start due to a login failure.

Proposed action  

To fix this issue the service credentials must to be re-entered.

Do the following:

  1. Open the Windows Services page.
  2. Right click on the Qlik NPrinting Engine service and select Properties.
  3. Click the Log On tab.
  4. Enter the service user account name and the password.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Start the service.
