Microsoft Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is blocking QV.exe (QlikView) and reporting_web_renderer.exe (Qlik Sense)

Possible cause  

QV.exe and reporting_web_renderer.exe is blocked. You receive an error message stating that Microsoft Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is turned on and blocking your application.

This can occur even if you are not using Internet Explorer as your browser.

To prevent these types of blocking errors, which prevent NPrinting from generating reports normally, IE Enhanced Security Configuration must be turned off via Windows Server Manager.

Proposed action  

1. Close all instances of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

2. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.

3. If a User Account Control dialog is displayed, click Continue.

4. Under Security Summary, click Configure IE ESC.

5. Under Administrators, click Off.

6. Under Users, click Off.

7. Click OK.
