# Delete Tasks

The Delete Tasks step removes the Qlik Cloud reload tasks that the plan created. It is the task-level undo for the Migrate Tasks step.

There are no prerequisite steps for this migration step.

## Step details

* Retrieval method:  
  Tasks are matched by the description tag that the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool wrote during the Migrate Tasks step. Tasks that the tool did not create are never touched.
* Scheduled tasks:  
  By default, tasks on a time-based schedule are not deleted. To include them, select the Also delete scheduled tasks setting.

## Notes

* Do not run Reset Task Descriptions before this step. Once the descriptions are cleared, the tool can no longer find the tasks that it created.
