# Update QlikView Application Owners

The Update QlikView Application Owners step retrieves all QlikView applications from the migration plan and updates their ownership in the Qlik Cloud tenant according to the configuration.

## Prerequisite steps

* `Import QlikView Applications`
* `Import Users` (optional)

## Step details

* Retrieval method:  
  Applications are resolved using the description metadata created during the plan retrieval process.

* Execution:  
  Ownership is reassigned based on the owner defined in the migration plan.

## Note

If the designated owner does not exist in the Qlik Cloud tenant, the application owner will not be updated.
