# Reset QlikView App Descriptions

The Reset QlikView App Descriptions step retrieves all QlikView applications from the selected plan and resets their app descriptions in the Qlik Cloud tenant to their previous, pre-migration values.

## Prerequisite steps

* `Import QlikView Applications`

## Step details

* Retrieval method:  
  Applications are identified by the metadata embedded in their descriptions during the `Import QlikView Applications` step.

* Behavior:  
  The description field of each QlikView app in Qlik Cloud is cleared to reflect its original, pre-import state—typically meaning no description was set prior to migration. This helps finalize the migration cleanup and removes internal tracking data.
