Install the Salesforce Connector for QlikView

The Salesforce Connector must be installed manually for QlikView.

For Qlik Sense, the Salesforce Connector is installed automatically and does not require separate installation. The connector can be excluded from the Qlik Sense installation if necessary.

Warning noteIf any version of the Salesforce Connector is installed on the system, it must be uninstalled before the current version can be installed.
Information noteIf you intend to use the Salesforce Connector with QlikView on a system with Qlik Sense Desktop, you install it with QlikSalesforceConnector_setup.exe after you have installed Qlik Sense Desktop.

System requirements for a QlikView installation

The Salesforce Connector can be installed on any 64-bit system that runs QlikView. For more information, see: System requirements for QlikView.

The Salesforce Connector also requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or later version.

The Salesforce Connector is designed to work with the same web browsers as QlikView.

Installing the connector

To install the Salesforce Connector for QlikView, use the following procedure. The Salesforce Connector is installed automatically with Qlik Sense.

Do the following:

  1. Download the QlikSalesforceConnector_setup.exe file from Product Downloads.

    Install connectors separately

  2. Run the QlikSalesforceConnector_setup.exe file.

    The installation wizard sets up the installation environment and completes the installation.

  3. Start QlikView.

When you open the Edit Script dialog in QlikView, the Salesforce Connector is available as a connector.
