The move file block moves a file from one location to another on a cloud storage provider.

  • When you move files from one location to another while an automation is executed.

Configuring a move file block

Configure the block to move a source file from one location to another.

Inputs

The move file block requires an authenticated connection to a cloud storage provider, a source path, and a destination path. The path fields can have field mapped values from preceding blocks.

Settings

The Settings tab is where you choose what the block does if it encounters an error.

Connection

The Connection tab is where you can authenticate your cloud storage provider. Once you select the storage provider on the Inputs tab, a Connect button appears here which opens up an authentication window. You must authenticate the connection to use this block.
