Getting started

Qlik Application Automation for OEM is an integration platform to build integrations and automation flows between cloud applications.

Qlik Application Automation for OEM is used by 3 types of companies:

  • SaaS companies that want to build, deploy and manage native integrations for their end-customers
  • Enterprises that want to automate internal processes
  • Agencies, IT integrators and consultants that need to implement cloud integrations for their customers

How it works

Each integration is built as a workflow, called an automation. automations are built in the automation editor by using building blocks. Qlik Application Automation for OEM has 400+ connectors to a wide range of cloud applications, and for each connector, you have different blocks to read and write data.

automations can be executed manually, they can be triggered (using webhooks), they can be scheduled or they can be called through their API endpoint.

Next to the connector blocks, Qlik Application Automation for OEM has a wide range of blocks to build any type of integration, including loops, conditions, variables, filtering lists, doing lookups in lists and much more. You use field mapping to map data between blocks and you can apply formulas (transformations) to change data formats.

For whom

The Qlik Application Automation for OEM backend is intended for a technical audience, people that typically have experience with scripting or coding. If you know what JSON is, if you have a basic understanding of loops, variables and an if statement, Qlik Application Automation for OEM is for you.

If you are an experienced developer, you will find Qlik Application Automation for OEM to be a productive environment to build and maintain integrations, you will enjoy real-time lookups, the ability to work with custom code, easily cache data, handle errors and much more.
