Install connectors

Installation packages for the Qlik connectors that install separately can be found on the download site at www.qlik.com.

The Qlik ODBC Connector Package, Qlik Salesforce Connector, and Qlik REST Connector are included in installations of Qlik Sense versions 3.0 and later and do not have to be installed separately. The Qlik Essbase Connector version 1.1 is included included in installations of Qlik Sense versions 3.2 and later and does not have to be installed separately.

Other connectors for Qlik Sense and all the connectors for QlikView are installed separately.

To download the installation packages for the connectors, log onto www.qlik.com with a registered customer or partner account and select Support. On the Qlik Support page, select Customer Downloads and then select the Connector tab. There you can find the connector package of your choice.

Simply download the connector package, click through the short installation screens, and the connector shows up in Qlik Sense in the Data manager and the Data load editor and in the Edit Script dialog in QlikView.

Connectors can be installed on Qlik Sense Desktop and QlikView Desktop. To install connectors on a Qlik Sense or QlikView server, the user must have administrator privileges on the server.
